For most of us it is the hardest transition. (Yes I’m a MK and TCK) Why? I think simply because we expect and assume so much to be ‘safe’ – well it is supposed to be our home but that’s the oxymoron we’re not connected and therefore everything shouts at us and we have an overload. Most manage to work through it a bit like a tunnel as we find there is support and there actually are many who have experienced similar issues. Quite often it is the freedom issue which causes the many difficulties we face. The freedom we have overseas is a very different type of freedom to that experienced in the west. Having said this, it is these very difficulties and experiences which make us special and empower us to be used by God for His greater purposes.
Thanks for your blog.
